One word – Sensational!

An uber-luxury chalet with a fantastic chef and lovely staff, situated a mere stone’s throw from the bubble lift out of St Martin de Belleville. Having had a refreshing night’s sleep in this quiet village and a stunning breakfast you can pick up your skis right next to the lift, which is about 50m from the chalet, and be whisked to the arête overlooking the Méribel valley in about 10 minutes. The run back into St Martin (Jerusalem and Biolay) is long, and one of my favourites in the Three Valleys. Back at the chalet, a sauna and jacuzzi await, followed by tea, canapés and a four course dinner. The food really is special. Henry’s skill in the kitchen is excellent, as are the wines that are matched to the food. A special thank you to Henry, Cat, Laura and Georgie for making our holiday so special.
